Refund & Returns Policy (Updated for Egypt Local Deliveries)

Thank you for shopping with Cherwine Wakeb Fashion and Styling. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1) Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Physical products purchased via our website and delivered by courier.

  • Services (e.g., personal styling, wardrobe revamp), as stated below.

Important: Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable laws and regulations (including Egypt’s consumer protection framework).

2) Egypt Local Delivery — “Inspect on Delivery” (Courier On-Site)

For orders delivered within Egypt, we operate on an Inspect-on-Delivery basis:

A) While the courier is present (required)

You must check your order immediately while the courier is still on-site (quantity, item, obvious defects, visible damage).

  • If there is any issue (wrong item, missing item, visible damage, obvious defect), you must refuse the delivery or return it immediately with the courier (before the courier leaves).

  • Once you confirm acceptance and the courier leaves, the order is considered final for change-of-mind returns.

B) After the courier leaves

  • No return or refund for change of mind (e.g., “I changed my mind”, “size doesn’t suit”, “style preference”, etc.) after courier departure.

  • If you believe the item is defective or non-conforming in a way that may not have been obvious at the doorstep, contact us immediately and we will review the case in line with applicable requirements. finance@cherwinewakeb.com

3) Eligibility for Returns/Refunds (General Product Conditions)

Where a return/refund is accepted (e.g., refused at the door / approved defect case), the item must be:

  • Unused, unworn, unwashed

  • In original condition with original packaging, tags, and any included accessories

We may decline a return/refund if the product shows signs of use, wear, washing, alteration, perfume/odour, makeup marks, or damage caused after delivery.

4) Non-Refundable / Non-Returnable Items

Unless required by applicable law, the following are not eligible for return/refund:

  • Customized / personalized items (custom designs, bespoke requests)

  • Final sale / clearance items (clearly marked as final sale)

  • Services already delivered / completed (see Section 8)

5) Return / Refund Process (Egypt Local Deliveries)

If there’s an issue at delivery (courier present)

  1. Do not accept the shipment (or return it immediately with the courier).

  2. If possible, take clear photos of the issue.

  3. Email us the same day at: admin@cherwinewakeb.com with:

    • Order number

    • Description of the issue

    • Photos (if applicable)

If you report a potential defect after delivery

  1. Email admin@cherwinewakeb.com with your order number, description, and photos/videos.

  2. We may request additional proof and provide instructions (inspection, pickup, replacement, or refund handling).

6) Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return/refund is approved due to confirmed defect, damage, or wrong item, we will coordinate the solution (replacement/refund) as applicable.

  • For change-of-mind returns, we do not accept returns after courier departure for Egypt local deliveries (Section 2).

7) Exchanges

  • Exchanges are handled based on availability.

  • For Egypt local deliveries, any exchange request should be raised at delivery time (courier on-site). After courier departure, exchanges for preference/size are not accepted under the local delivery rule (Section 2).

8) Services (Styling / Wardrobe Revamp)

  • Refunds for services are assessed case-by-case and depend on whether the service has started, preparation work has begun, or the session has been completed.

  • Once a service is fully delivered, it is non-refundable.

9) Order Cancellations

  • Before shipment: You may request cancellation as soon as possible. If the order has not been processed/shipped, we will cancel it.

  • After shipment: Egypt local deliveries follow the Inspect-on-Delivery rule (Section 2).
